Vaca to Grandmas

After Thanksgiving, I hitched a ride in my parents motorhome, and went with them to stay for a couple of weeks. It was an adventureous trip. On the way down, we stopped by a Selve Serve Honey store. (see pic) The fridge door fell off while moving (see pic) luckly I caught it, and driving into Phoenix the motorhome blew a tire. And that was just the first day.

We got to Grandmas, and low and behold, Susi had an ear infection, and the day I figured it out was a Sunday, and my insurance lapsed that day, and of course, by the time we got out to a doc, everywhere was closed. So we took her in the next day, with no insurance, and got her some meds to help clear it up.

Then, James decided to go swimming with Grandpa! So he got in his suit, and got in the pool. It was freezing!! But he hung in there for about 20 minutes.

Hes such a good sport! They had fun.

The rest of the 2 weeks, We puzzled and played games, and shopped. It was fun. James became quite the puzzle freak. So Grandma sent him home with some.

We went and saw Santa at the Mall. So they sat on his lap and told him what they wanted. I didnt have my camera, so I took some pics on my cell phone. I guess it turned out okay.

Anyways, Joaquin came and got me on Saturday, the 13th. He drove down, packed up my stuff, and we headed back. We reached Flagstaff, and went in and ate dinner, and when we came out it was a blizzard. So we slipped and slid most the rest of the way home in the snow. That was scary, it took us almost 10 hours to get home. But we made it!

We are all ready for Christmas now, and the snow St George has had has made it feel even more like Christmas.

Halloween

This Halloween Joaquin and I attended an Awesome Party in Las Vegas. It was a friend of ours. It was extra funny because us and our little group were the only straight ones there. It was essentially a gay party. This party is an annual event, this couple LOVES halloween and have decorations galore and spend SO much time and money on this one holiday. They love it.

Well we went down there and spent the night. The party was awesome, Joaquin and I needed the time to ourselves, and really reconnected this weekend. Thats something we needed to do for a long time.

We dressed up as Vampires. Balta and Julie were "Shrek and Fiona", and Gloria and Alex were dead. It was fun!

For Halloween our kids dressed up as a witch and a ninja. They had a fun parade at school and then we went to the Trunk or Treat at the church. That was fun too!

Been a while

Its been a while since I have added a new Blog. My friend has bugged me to update this, so I am. It has been about a year since I have written, and just the past 2 months my life has changed dramatically. I am not going to give stong details, but my marriage and my family life has gone to the complete bottom and we are trying to make our way back. My husband has strayed, but I am taking it day by day trying to forgive him for his actions. Certain things keep me from doing that, his sin has a way of following us. It wont leave us alone long enough for us to put it in the past.
But we are trying. We love each other and I think we are more commited today, than we have ever been in the past. We are looking at our life and our love and marriage and changing things for the better. We have realized what we have done wrong in the past and we are changing.

But enought about my marriage. My kids are awesome. James is 7 1/2 and in Second grade, He is totally awesome at Math and loves it.
Susi is in Kindergarten and is loving that too.

We moved into a new house a couple of months ago but we are looking to move again. We are not sure where, or how far away from St George, but we are looking to move and start anew.

I guess that is all for now. I will try and keep you more updated.

New Puppy!

We have a new Puppy. It is a 2 month old Chihuahua Yorkie Mix (Its a CHORKIE) My kids named him Sonic, but it was too hard to call him that, so we changed the name to Duke. That seems to be a good common name for a dog, I know several people, including my sister, that have had a dog with that name.
But he is a sweetheart. I have always been against dogs, I have never been an animal person. But this puppy has won me over.
And this kids love him. But Susana is a little chicken butt. She screams if he jumps on her. But otherwise she is fine.
And James loves running around with him
